Effective use of the muscle relaxant Dantrolene (Dantrium, Dantrolene Sodium).
An alternative to drugs that cause hyperthermia is the use of other anesthetic protocols: nitrous oxide, benzodiazepines, phenothiazines, barbiturates, propofol, Etomidate, dissociative agents, opioids, non-depolarizing nerve blockers, or a combination of intravenous and local or regional anesthesia.
