Description
The disease is associated with overgrowth of the bones of the skull, especially the lower jaw. Typically, at the temporomandibular joint, the jaw can merge, leading to stiffness and immobility of the jaw. Abnormal bone growth occurs during the first year of a dog's life and usually causes pain, loss or lack of appetite, and fever. Inheritance type: incomplete dominance.
