The main signs of polyneuropathy are paralysis of the larynx and weakness of the hind limbs, accompanied by impaired coordination, developing at different times. There is a specific hoarse cough, especially after eating or drinking, the barking tone changes. In sick animals, increased fatigue and shortness of breath are observed. In the latter stages of the disease, stridor develops - a high-pitched sound made when breathing, which is an indicator of a serious problem. The disease can develop before the age of 1 year and up to 11 years.
