Description
Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA) is the general name for a group of retinal diseases that damage photoreceptor cells (rods and cones) until their death.

Progressive retinal atrophy CRD-SWD (PRA-cord2) appears in both eyes simultaneously. First of all, the cones are damaged, then the rods, which leads to loss of vision without the possibility of recovery. The first symptoms usually appear between 10 months and 3 years of age.
