- One biomaterial paper bag (the bag can be folded from a blank sheet of paper).

- For puppies and kittens at least two hours before taking the biomaterial, breastfeeding should be excluded. It is recommended to rinse the mouth with water (for convenience, you can use a syringe without a needle).

- Sign the name of the animal on the biomaterial bag.Do not allow any animals to come into contact with the cotton swabs.
- Take a cotton swab by one end. Avoid touching the opposite end of the stick to your hands and surrounding objects.
- Support the animal's head with one hand. With your other hand, insert the free end of a cotton swab into the space between the inner cheek and gum.
- Within 10 seconds, back and forth, rotating a cotton swab, collect the epithelial cells from the inner side of the cheek. Avoid getting too much saliva on the stick.
- Cut the end of the stick with scissors or break it off along the waist (if available), which you were holding with your hand, place the stick in a paper bag.
- Repeat the process with two other cotton swabs.
- All sticks should be folded into one paper bag, the envelope should be sealed.
